About Mr. Baker

Mr. Baker is in his 28th year in education, his 25th at Altoona Area High School. Mr. Baker serves as AAHS's broadcasting teacher and Mountain Lion Television coordinator. He is also a technology liaison and the school's internal accounts coordinator.

 

Mr. Baker is a Google Certified Trainer, Apple Coach, and holds National School Climate Center Level 1 certification.

 

From 2018 to 2021, he worked at one of Pennsylvania's intermediate units as a curriculum consultant.

 

He is a 1990 Altoona Area High School graduate and a 1996 Penn State University graduate.

 

Mr. Baker lives in Altoona with his wife, two dogs, and four cats. His adult children both work in public education.

 

In his free time, Mr. Baker enjoys working with technology, building LEGO sets, playing the drums, traveling to Walt Disney World, and (poorly) playing video games.
