Mr. Shultz, Assistant Principal, AAHS

I have been teaching with the AASD since 1999.  I am a native of Altoona and really enjoy living in Central PA.

I consider it a privilege to be a part of the Administrative Team here at AAHS and within our district.

Before becoming an assistant principal, I taught Social Studies (specializing in Civics) at RJHS/AAJHS and at AAHS for over twenty years. I have have a teaching certification in Social Studies Education and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, both from Penn State. My Principalship/Masters in Educational Leadership is from California University of Pennsylvania.

I have been a member of the US Army since 1992.  I was a member of the Army National Guard for 25 years and since 2017, I have been a member of the US Army Reserve.  I currently serve as the Pennsylvania state Area Coordinator for the Reserve Component of the Army's penultimate education course, the Command and General Staff Officers Course.
